Cohort Participant Opportunity – Physician Assistant and Osteopathic Medicine Alumni
UNE’s Center for Excellence in Public Health (CEPH) is recruiting their 2nd Northern New England Champions Grant (NNE-Champions) cohort to start work in September 2020. As a cohort participant, you would work to develop a project/program addressing Opioid/Substance Use Disorder in your community, or build upon or enhance existing OUD/SUD work at your clinical site. This opportunity is available to PAs, MDs, and DOs practicing at an FQHC in Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont.
Cohort members receive a $25,000 yearly stipend for their clinical site and may participate in monthly Project Echo-like professional development opportunities and develop a network of peer support with other providers in their cohort. During these virtual meetings, the cohort hears from field experts on a variety of relevant topics. Participants also receive one-on-one mentorship from our esteemed mentors.
The deadline to apply is February 28th. More information about this opportunity may be found at https://sites.une.edu/nnechampions/
