This tool allows students to respond via text message, app or webpage on almost any device. Polls can be placed into PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slide presentations. The free version is limited to 40 responses per poll. |

This tool is one of several to help students create visual timelines. Assigning tasks with a visual component is a great way to bring in more diverse modalities of engaging with concepts. When having students work with visual materials, it’s useful to include language about copyright and fair use in the instructions. |

Twine |
Twine is a free text-based branching scenario tool. Twine is currently used in a few CPS courses for basic branching. To use this lightweight tool, download from twinery.org. This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to get started and complete your Twine. Once your scenario is complete, click the title of the Twine, and select Publish to File. Files can be uploaded directly into Blackboard. |
