Brightspace Tutorials
Brightspace is a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS) that helps engage students through technology. At this time, all CGPS courses are delivered and accessible through the Brightspace LMS. The major components of each course are already built-in Brightspace by the CGPS Instructional Design Services team, allowing faculty to focus on delivering instruction and facilitating student engagement. As a result, CGPS instructors need only become proficient in certain features and functionalities of Brightspace.

Course Personalization
Course Personalization introduces instructors to personalizing your Brightspace experience, whether through the use of a profile image or the creation of engaging course announcements.
Course Overview, Setup, and Navigation
Course Tools shows the overall flow and the most frequently used elements of a course. Your course may have assignments with Turnitin Originality Check. You will need to re-enable the Turnitin integration in your new course.
Grading
Grading in Brightspace: introduces instructors to personalizing your Brightspace experience, whether through the use of a profile image or the creation of engaging course announcements.
Rubrics
Rubrics are often used for grading to make sure that assessment is consistent, transparent and that performance expectations are communicated to students early on.

Not all of our courses use Brightspace’s Quizzes feature. But when used, quizzes raise some common questions.
