Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has launched a new course Effective Communication for Healthcare Teams: Addressing Health Literacy, Limited English Proficiency and Cultural Differences. This course helps healthcare professionals assess their patients’ health literacy and language needs and practice culturally competent care. To access the course, click here.
