Director of the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs (OCCYSHN)
The Oregon Health & Science University’s Institute on Development and Disability is seeking a dynamic leader with doctoral or master’s degree to fill the position of Director of the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs (OCCYSHN). Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in organizational and grant administration and have a strong record of building successful professional, state, and national partnerships. We seek candidates who also have solid accomplishments in strategic planning, pediatric public health and health systems for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN), grant writing, and scholarship.
Candidates are expected to have appropriate credentials to qualify for an academic appointment in the respective Schools at OHSU.
OCCYSHN is Oregon’s Title V agency for CYSHCN and represents one of three Title V programs within the United States that are located within University medical centers.
This position works closely with partners at state and national levels, within the University, and especially with leaders within the OHSU Institute on Development and Disability to improve the lives of children and youth who experience special health needs and their families.
