Health Equity: Can We Get There From Here?
Do you work to promote and protect public health in Maine? Then MPHA wants to hear from YOU! Please consider sharing your efforts in programming, policymaking, research, business, media, healthcare, and any other industries that touch health and reduce disparity in Maine. Examples of topics related to health equity may include food access, educational achievement, health insurance, medical care, geography, minority health, and many, many others! Mark Fenton is 2017 Keynote!
We are so excited to announce Mark Fenton will be our 2017 keynote speaker! Mark is a national public health, planning, and transportation consultant, adjunct associate professor at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and former host of the “America’s Walking” series on PBS television.
Mark’s talk is titled: Chronic Disease & Environmental Design: A 21st Century Health Equity Challenge

- Maine Funders Panel – Hear from Maine funders about their priorities, challenges, and opportunities!
