2. Practicum Information
Position Title: Intern
Start date: As early as January 2, 2019
End date: No later than June 30, 2019
Compensation (If any): NEPHTC stipend
Description of Practicum Project: The Family Health Program is happy to host any student interested in health equity, underserved populations, community health outreach workers, maternal and child health, and home visit nursing. The program will meet with interested student(s) to determine their interests, as well as to determine see if s/he is a good fit for the program regarding skill set, interest, and the needs of the program.
Tasks: Student will work as an intern within the Family Health Program.
Requirements: Bilingual skills preferred, specifically Portuguese and French.

- The UNE MPH Program requires a minimum of 120 hours at the practicum site OR the completion of two (2) high quality products by the student.
- An Affiliation Agreement must be completed between UNE and the practicum site before the student can start counting hours for credit.
