2. Practicum Information
Position Title: Research and Evaluation Intern
Start date: Spring Semester 2019
End date: After 120-200 hours
Compensation (If any): $3,500 stipend until November
Description of Practicum Project: Health of Portland Report
Tasks:
- Collect and analyze health data.
- Edit portions of the Health of Portland Report.
- Create a dissemination plan for the Health of Portland Report.
- Create a presentation capturing the Health of Portland Report.
- Present findings of the Health of Portland Report to city council, partners, stakeholders and community members.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with statistical software preferred.
- Experience creating public health infographics preferred.
- Strong writing skills required.
