Description: At Agape we are on the frontlines of combatting the stigma around addiction. Whether it’s by advocating in the Maine legislature or by providing funds to those in need, our Team is committed to helping those who need it.
Our counseling staff is primarily interns who are part of a robust training program overseen and supervised by Stephen Andrew, LCSW, LADC, CCS. All of our counselors are trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI) – a primary counseling modality with, a focus is empathy and compassion.
