Description: Sierra Club Maine created the Climate Action Teams to address local initiatives in providing solutions to climate change. It is the mission of the Climate Action Team Program to help communities across Maine reduce their use of fossil fuels, thus reducing the amount of greenhouse gases going into our atmosphere. Learning opportunities: Program development, Program evaluation, Advocacy, Community Organizing, Legislative Advocacy, Conflict Resolution, Group work. Student needs a vehicle, mileage reimbursable.
