Description: Resource Specialists provide resource and assistance to seniors, adults with disabilities and caregivers who need help and support. On-going assistance with finding housing, applying for income maintenance and for entitlement programs and linkage to helpful social service programs. The Mission of SMAAA is to improve the physical, social, emotional and economic well-being of older adults in southern Maine. Learning opportunities include: advocacy, community organizing, community education, and case documentation.
