The Ambassador Program is a way for UNE Online to recognize students for their commitment to our college, and for exemplifying what it means to be a UNE Online Student. Your dedication to the program, and UNE Online, as well as your professionalism and enthusiasm, make you a perfect addition to our Ambassador Program.
A little bit more about the program…
You will be a designated Ambassador for UNE Online. Being a UNE Online Ambassador means that you have been singled out by the university for being what we believe to be the epitome of a successful and engaged student at UNE Online, and within your program.
We invite you to add this designation to your LinkedIn profile, as well as your resume, and provide you with the description to do so in the Communication Tools we’ll share below.Additionally, we will feature our Ambassadors in a profile series on our Vision Blog. This is another unique way to showcase yourself and your designation to those in your network.
We will prepare and share a UNIQUE REFERRAL CODE for you, that you can share with your network. Anyone that applies to a program at UNE Online and uses your referral code will have their application fee waived. When someone in your network goes to apply, all they need to do is enter your name, and your unique referral code in the appropriate fields in the application portal, and their application fee will be waived, and we’ll be notified that they were referred by you.
You can share your referral code via email, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter or however you are comfortable communicating. We also provide you with communication templates to share so you don’t even have to think about it!
Lastly, we’ve got some really nice swag just for our Ambassadors as a small way of saying thanks for being a part of our program.
As long as you are a student. If you’re interested, we’d love you to maintain your Ambassador status as an alumni. Additionally, maintaining your Ambassador status as an alumni will be a great way to stay connected to the UNE Online community and will prove to be an ideal resource for UNE Online to utilize for certification, and accreditation purposes.
Yes! We’d love for you to share the fact that you are an Ambassador with your network. We invite you to add this designation to your LinkedIn profile, as well as your resume, and provide you with the description to do so in the Communication Tools we share below. Additionally, we’ll provide special recognition for our Ambassadors at Hooding.
Being a UNE Online Ambassador means that you have been singled out by the university as being what we think is the epitome of a successful and engaged student at UNE Online and within your program. You have been recognized not only for your dedication to the program and UNE Online, but for your professionalism and enthusiasm.
Your student support specialist will provide you with your unique referral code. You can then share your referral code with your network when you have time, and where you think it best suits your network.
Your student support specialist will check in with you during your regularly scheduled quarterly check-in calls to assess how the program is going for you, and find out if there’s anything that would be helpful for you to further amplify the message to your network, or if there are any additional tools that would be helpful for you.
If you lose or forget your referral code, just reach out to your student support specialist!

As you may know, I’m currently a student at the University of New England Online College of Graduate and Professional Studies, enrolled in the YOUR PROGRAM NAME. I am a huge supporter of UNE Online and have been so impressed with the program and coursework.
I’ve recently been invited by UNE Online to join their Ambassador program. They’ve invited select students to become an Ambassador in an effort to recognize those students for their commitment to UNE Online, and for exemplifying what it means to be a UNE Online Student.
