Description: In the aftermath of Hurricane Michael in October 2018, a group of dedicated community leaders came together under the guidance of Bay County Emergency Management. Recognizing the immense need for coordinated recovery efforts, Rebuild Bay County, Inc. was officially established in March 2019 as Bay County’s long-term disaster recovery organization.

Originally serving as an umbrella for non-profits and faith-based organizations, we’ve been at the forefront of aiding residents in all aspects of recovery. Faced with subsequent challenges like COVID-19, Hurricane Sally, the Chipola Wildfires, and several tornadoes, our commitment to the community has only strengthened.

Description: Students work closely with the Quality Management Coordinator, Clinical Supervisors, and Associate Executive Director (AED). At times, students may also work with the Program Managers from various programs, Volunteer Services, and the Marketing and Development Department. The Quality Management (QM) Department provides quality oversight to all SDYS programs and services. The QM team ensures the quality of these services through clinical supervision of staff and interns, writing and revising policies and procedures, conducting program and documentation reviews, and developing new, comprehensive training opportunities within SDYS.
