At times, students may also work with the Program Managers from various programs, Volunteer Services, and the Marketing and Development Department. The Quality Management (QM) Department provides quality oversight to all SDYS programs and services. The QM team ensures the quality of these services through clinical supervision of staff and interns, writing and revising policies and procedures, conducting program and documentation reviews, and developing new, comprehensive training opportunities within SDYS.

Description: Nonprofit organization serving the population of Oxford County and the town of Harrison and Bridgton, providing crisis and support services to victims of sexual assault and their loved ones through crisis and recovery. SAPARS also provides sexual assault awareness, risk reduction and prevention presentations to schools (pre-K to 12th grade) and community organizations and a help line. SAPARS promotes healing and empowerment for people of all genders and ages who are affected by rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, social exploitation, stalking and sexual harassment. Student learning opportunities include: case management, advocacy, community organizing, grant-writing, community education, and group work.
