Agency/Program Info: The Riverside In-Home Family Therapy program addresses the emotional and behavioral difficulties facing youth up to age 21, while simultaneously working to improve family dynamics. We provide personalized strategies to promote the child’s healthy behavior at home, in the community, and at school.

This program supports the whole family including parents, caregivers, and other children in the home who may also be affected by providing them with tools to better cope with and manage crises.

Social Work Practicum Information:
The Home-Based Family Services program offers you a diverse and clinically rich experience affording you the opportunity to grow your skills in clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions. Through individual supervision, group supervision, and staff meetings, you will be supported in learning about the intersection of systems, developing your professional identity, and exploring your personal interests.

Schedule:
Flexible Mon-Fri (16-24 hours per week) evenings hours required
This internship requires a license and vehicle.

As a clinical intern you will:

• Hold a caseload of 2-3 clients

• Receive weekly 1:1 clinical supervision

• Attend staff meetings, group supervision, and trainings provided

• Managing paperwork and completing progress notes

Preferred student skills: Organized, willing to learn, not being afraid to step in and try new things.
