Description: Internship split between two social workers for District and High School. Working with the High School working primarily with students who receive special education services. This position would include learning about IEPs, having the opportunity to provide individual and group counseling for students both with an IEP and students who do not receive special education services. Working with the District social worker would allow the intern to work with students K-12 primarily those who are displaying challenging behaviors, creating behavior plans, working with families, attending IEP meetings, consulting with teachers and BCBA’s, attending CPPC meetings and working with outside providers.
