Description: Central Aroostook Association offers a variety of day program services for adults with developmental disabilities. These individualized programs can include either center based or community based activities. This program offers activities to promote self-maintenance, physical fitness, self motivation, social skills, behavioral skills, safety, and problem solving. Physical, occupational and speech therapy carry over is available for individuals who need that service. The program also promotes the integration of developmental skills necessary for semi or independent daily living.
Central Aroostook Association offers individualized programs designed to increase independence, improve independent functioning and independent living. The community based programs offer a variety of community inclusion activities for the individuals we serve in the adult programs. Activities include volunteering in different communities, using community facilities and gaining knowledge about the community. The pre-vocational program assists individuals with job seeking skills so they can explore employment opportunities for the type of work they would like to do.

Description: The mission of the Family Support Program is to partner with families to increase safety, family stability and community integration of the families served through the program. The program provides a differential response to Child Protective referrals, based on level of risk. A differential response indicates two pathways for families referred for abuse or neglect. An investigation by DHS for high-risk families, or a voluntary safety assessment and follow-up case management services for families at low to moderate risk of child endangerment and DHS services cases. Description: South Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides treatment for people who are struggling with opioid addiction. We offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders.
MAT combines both medication and counseling to address opioid addiction and is more effective than using one intervention by itself. Methadone clinics that offer MAT are highly qualified to help you address opioid addiction.
