Description: Hope Acts provides transitional housing for asylum-seekers new to the Greater Portland area. We also offer immigrants a myriad of services, including English language classes, mentoring and case management — all geared to address immediate needs and facilitate successful transitions into permanent housing, jobs and well-being. Hope House, located in Portland’s Parkside neighborhood, provides housing for 13 adult asylum-seekers.
