Description: An in-patient unit of Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, PARC serves our community by providing acute in-patient psychiatric and medical detoxification treatment for patients 18 years of age and older. PARC is a locked 18-bed unit. Patients are treated both on a voluntary and an involuntary basis. The treatment team utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques in both group therapy and individual treatment plans. PARC staff strongly believe in the maintenance of a healing and therapeutic environment.

Description: Tri County Mental Health Services, a comprehensive community mental health center. Tri County can offer a range of placements including case management, individual therapy, family work, crisis, substance abuse services and organizational study. Interns at Tri County must be flexible as our clients face multiple challenges beyond mental health issues, including, but not limited to, poverty, substance abuse, histories of trauma and domestic violence. Services available include: Outpatient services, Substance abuse services, Community Support Services, Geriatric Program, Crisis Stabilization Counseling. Trinity Jubilee Center

Description: The Trinity Jubilee Center is a secular community center located in the heart of downtown Lewiston. The Center is open six days a week and operates five programs: a soup kitchen, food pantry, day shelter, resource center, and refugee integration program. These programs provide basic necessities including food, diapers, medical attention, and winter coats, and help people navigate barriers and achieve goals including housing, immigration status adjustments, and employment. The Day Shelter and Resource Center work together to prevent and address homelessness. The Day Shelter open 7:30-3:00 Monday-Saturday year round and welcomes homeless men, women, and children inside to escape the elements, use the bathroom, eat breakfast, charge phones, and rest. The Resource Center includes a free medical clinic; access to a mailing address, phone, and printer; supplies including winter gear and toiletries; referrals for case management, visits from partner agency outreach teams, and assistance with paperwork.
