Washington Valley for children with special needs, Children Unlimited Inc. opened its doors specializing in early intervention and inclusive childcare on July 1, 1986. In October of 1986, the local school district asked Children Unlimited to start a preschool that would also accommodate children with special needs. During the next 22 years, Children Unlimited continued to grow, in size and popularity. On June 7, 2008, Children Unlimited reached its next milestone with the opening of an 8,000 square foot building. Built with funds generously gifted by the community, Children Unlimited could continue its dedication to offering integrated preschool and child care programs, while also launching several new programs intended to support families in the greater Mount Washington Valley.
