Description: Safe Voices (formally Abused Women's Advocacy Project) works with over 2000 women and children a year. We offer placements for students interested in working with victims of domestic violence either in shelter, transitional housing, or outreach office settings School based prevention work and rural advocacy available. Staff of 23 works from a model that offers respect, non-violence, safety and quality while working to end domestic violence through services, prevention, community education and social change. The QM team ensures the quality of these services through clinical supervision of staff and interns, writing and revising policies and procedures, conducting program and documentation reviews, and developing new, comprehensive training opportunities within SDYS.
